Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radif, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the college held a course on the high-temperature crisis in Iraq and its impact on the economy. The course aimed to address the causes of the rise in temperatures in Iraq, the factors influencing the size and intensity of the rise in temperatures, the consequences of the rise in temperatures on the economy, and the necessary measures to reduce the rise in temperatures in Iraq. The session recommended increasing green spaces in the city, utilizing new possible alternatives in transportation operations to reduce air pollution, and increasing the number of open water bodies, streams, and canals for healthy water to mitigate the rise in temperatures.
