Lecturer Dr. Zahraa Chaffat Oleiwi, who teaches at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, took part in the 2023 International Conference on Information Technology, Applied Mathematics and Statistics (ICITAMS). The proceedings of the conference were included in the IEEE Xplore database and indexed in the Scopus database. Dr. Zahraa presented a scientific research paper titled “Multi-marker classification technique for predicting hypertrophic heart disease using chest X-ray images.” The research focuses on using modern deep learning techniques to classify diseases, including hypertrophic heart disease, based on chest X-ray images.
