Within a scientific research team between the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah and Monash University in Australia, a new effective technology for diagnosing Parkinson’s disease for patients electronically is produced and without the need for the supervision of a specialist doctor. Moreover, the technology is published by a scientific research at the International Journal of Medical Informatics at Elsevier Publishing. The International Journal of Medical Informatics is registered in Scopus and Clarivate with an impact factor of 3.7, which is considered one of the highest standards.
The research team is headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiah Al-Shammary from the University of Al-Qadisiyah and researcher Mustafa Noaman Kadhim from the same University in partnership with medical informatics expert Dr. Fahim Sufi from Monash University in Australia.

The research has included the production of a new effective technology in diagnosing Parkinson’s disease with high accuracy through the development of Gower mathematical model in artificial intelligence diagnostic techniques and intelligent machine learning systems.
