Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabbar Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radif, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the college hosted the Iraqi scientist Assistant Professor Dr. Shamil Mohsen Hadi, who delivered a valuable scientific lecture titled:
“Dynamic Causal Modeling: An Application to fMRI”
The lecture was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Dr. Mohammed Abbas Al-Jubouri Hall and was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohsen Al-Jubouri, a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at the college.
During the lecture, Dr. Shamil Mohsen discussed brain modeling from an engineering perspective, its applications in human psychology, autism disorders, differential equations, and information technology.
A Brief Biography of Assistant Professor Dr. Shamil Mohsen Hadi:
•An Iraqi professor currently teaching at Oakland University, USA.
•Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Michigan.
•Holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Michigan.
•Earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and its Applications from Oakland University.
•Serves as the Scientific Director for Autism Centers under the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.
•Previously worked at Henry Ford Hospital on stroke-related research and is currently a professor at Oakland University.
•Has delivered numerous lectures, workshops, and training courses at various Iraqi universities since 2014.
