{"id":22297,"date":"2025-02-11T00:28:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-10T21:28:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cm.qu.edu.iq\/?p=22297"},"modified":"2025-02-11T00:28:16","modified_gmt":"2025-02-10T21:28:16","slug":"a-campaign-to-support-children-with-thalassemia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cm.qu.edu.iq\/?p=22297&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"A Campaign to Support Children with Thalassemia"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabbar Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radif, a group of volunteers from the faculty members and students of the Computer Science Department organized a support campaign for children suffering from thalassemia in Diwaniyah. Gifts were distributed to the children, and an atmosphere of fun and joy was created for them in the Thalassemia Unit at the Hematology Hospital in Diwaniyah.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The college delegation consisted of:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022Assistant Lecturer Maytham Abdul-Hamza<\/div>\n<div>\u2022Assistant Lecturer Dhulfiqar Aziz Halwas<\/div>\n<div>\u2022Mr. Mustafa Thabit Mahmoud<\/div>\n<div>\u2022A number of students from the Computer Science Department<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Assistant Lecturer Maytham Hamza, the Computer Science Department\u2019s rapporteur and the campaign\u2019s coordinator, stated that the initiative aimed to provide psychological support to the children.
