Within a scientific research team between the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah and a team of Australian researchers from Victoria University in Australian, a new scientific research was published at the Journal of Informatics in Medicine Unlocked from Elsevier publisher (International Publishing House), which is classified within the first quarter of Scopus containers, which are considered among the highest standards of sobriety.

The team was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiah Al-Shammary and with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Mahdi and researchers Ali Hakem Al-Saeedi and Mohammad Radhi from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah, and Dr. Ayman Ibaida and Dr. Khandkar Ahmed from Victoria University in Australia.
The research included the design and development of a new technology for diagnosing cardiac disorders by reading and analyzing the heartbeat. The technology was developed based on the Kullback-Leibler mathematical model, which helps in determining the extent of variations and differences between heartbeats.
